i bought the car you see as my profile picture about six months ago. my father and i are working on it so i can drive it when i get my license. I am the 3rd owner. the first owner had it in a barn for years so there is not much rust on it and the floors boards are great. i bought it with shaved handles on the rear doors. the second owner was stupid. he got it painted something like forest green. painted over the grill and over the crome. added an extra scope on the original scope. overall it doesn't look to bad. i was wondering if you could help me in customizing my first car and my first beauty.
I think your car looks fantastic! I definitely think that the chrome shouldn't be blacked out but it sounds like you've got an awesome starting point. I have 2 1974 4 doors and neither one look half as good as yours. Do you have any pictures of the rear doors? I'd like to see what they look like shaved. Man, I'm serious- looking at your car gives me hope about how cool mine could be one day! Any help you need you'll find here on the board. I've never had a question unanswered.
