...being Patches is starting to shape up, i thought i would do a little cleaning and touchup painting... today i pulled the... driveshaft...(repaint) Gearvendor...(clean) C-4...(clean and repaint) E-fan...(clean) drained radiator... (to pull tomorrow) undercarriage...(clean/repaint) motor needs 500 mile service... pulling it tomorrow to take it in and have it torn down and the bearings checked/replaced (rod/mains) all gaskets replaced. clean valve covers, alt.,starter, repaint intake. repaint or replace hedders clean and touchup engine bay. motor Guy texted me today and said "bring the motor tomorrow"... if no rain tomorrow/next day i should have the parts cleaned/repainted... ......
Sounds like you are well into the cleaning and painting. How are you going to clean/paint your undercarriage?
Cleaning & Painting I wud call getting all that done in one day a productive day. I guess u got the pinion angle resolved B4 the disassembly? It appears u will be ahead of the game when the real driving season arrives. Nice job on the undercarriage --- Looks real gud. ...

I near about choked on my drink. Thought for a minute there you were painting the OUTSIDE of the car. Knew that couldn't be right.
Jeff came down and hung out with me today...we got the motor pulled and all the assy. taken off...A/C, carb, alt, headers, fuel pump, valve covers, coil, dist and motor plate. we loaded it in Jeffs truck and he took it home with him..I will meet him tomorrow at my motor Guys shop and then to Baby Janes for lunch...(same truck we brought it home in the first time.)
