I've got four factory slotted aluminum rims that I want to have polished. Decided to pursue sending them out (been trying to do it myself, but not happy with the results I'm getting). They are not painted, nor do they have any coating, and I don't want any coating applied. The rims are in very good condition (no dents, no road rash, just a few small scratches), so they do not need to be "re-conditioned". However thus far every place I've checked pretty much have a "re-conditioned" blanket cost, and it's almost $150 each! I've got to believe someone has a service to simply buff/polish these things to bring them back? Does anyone know of a person or company that specializes in this (at a reasonable price)?

    Thanks for your suggestions....

The pic is an old one, the tires have been removed as well as the center caps...

I was just going to mention what Dave said, We have a number of truck stops around here that have polishing operations going on. Try to find a Petro, Pilot, or a T/A somewhere near one of the highways and see what they have around. :)

If you haven't has them on your car yet, Make sure they fit, before you spend too much on them. Some of those wheels don't clear the hub if you have disc brakes...
