i made a homemade version of the kit that mopar guys use for the front and had a set of 2.5 inch offset rear shackles made.i welded them to the bottom of the frame under the factory position.i'll get some pics today
rims awesome job! how far do your rims and tires sit away from you leafs spring with them under there?
It looks awsome!!! But you need to get that thing lowered a little bit to get that rear tire up in the body!!!!
Hey, I forgot about your awesome project till I saw someone brought the topic back up. What's the latest on the Maverick? Bossed
well its been a while but i got the front disk conversion for the front, granada spindles and calipers, drilled and slotted rotors,semi-metallic pads.now if i can ever find time to install them. also picked up 3 out of the 4 03-04 mach1 wheels 17x8 all around for cruisin round town.
well i went to order the radiator but i cant seem to find one of the champion cooling aluminium ones. hpefully this week i can get the engine and trans installed and get her rolling under her own power. i have gone through 3 converters to get one between 2500-2800 stall that fits.i finally had to find a stock one and have them rework the guts, all the aftermarket ones i ordered were 1/4-3/8" to tall.finally have that squared now i just need to drop engine-trans,finish fuel lines, put in battery and about a hundred other things.track round here closes in december so i hope to make at least one pass this season.
made some progress in the last few days, got the engine and trans installed as well as the front disk brakes. forgot all about modding the trans cross member for the smaller 69.5 trans tunnel, should get to that tomorrow.for now a floor jack makes a great trans mount.
