Well, lets see if he can make The NRMCC Mountain Cruz coming up in April. It will be starting out at my house and will end up the A&W on Walkers Line.
I'm thinking that we will go where the most Maverick Comet owners (who have interest) are and for the most part that is out West of Toronto , or a 2 minute drive from my house (J/K). I'm thinking we will be staying in the same locations as usual, what does everyone else think.
Mr. Winter tell me more about this Mountain Cruz in April, it sounds interesting. Does it include some driving?
Why yes, it does include driving, In a low valley, across an old bridge or two, up a few mountain access roads, a look out spot(too find the guy that owns that Maverick) to stay on topic!!, over some railway tracks, near a creek that drains into a damed up lake for a old Mill, the odd deer, another lookout spot , down the mountain through a snaking road, than across 4 sideroad to head them off at Bakers pass because the bridge is out. than to A&W for some lunch. Oh to find that guy who owns the Maverick!
The mountain is steep, you must have good brakes or good shoes for stopping or slowing down, lots of gas in the tank or a tank in the trunk full of gas, or just be full of gas!
Hey that sounds great. I'm in 'fo 'sho , a nice April cruise through the hills to start off the car show, swap meet, cruising season. What a sight if we can get 5,6,7 Mavericks and Comets rolling through the hills and a nice stop at A&W for a burger. That would make for a nice picture too with the cars parked in front of A&W's.
