Ok.... Some a-hole broke into my mav and attempted to steal my radio, the broke the lower dash into three pieces and stole the face plate to my radio.

The thief never managed to get out the box in which the radio was connected to, so I am left with three parts of a broke dash for no legit reason at all

Im poor and gorilla glued my lower dash together, but it is highly noticeable and has become an eye soar.

I was planning on changing the color of the interior of the car and now that my dash looks like crap, it might be a good idea to repaint it and try to cover up the misfortune.

My problem is this... What color should i paint my interior? Its a Baby Blue Maverick and im wanting to get a carbon fiber hood which ill paint over but leave the racing stripes carbon fiber.

    Any suggestions?

baby blue would likely be complimented by a white unless your wanted a strongly contrasting color that would draw attention. in that case i would use a darker blue.

suggestion would be to reinforce it from behind and run a very light coat of bondo or other filler to cover the seam. once it seals then grab some wet dry sandpaper and wet sand it lightly then paint it.

That really sucks. I think you should be able to find someone who has a replacement lower dash. place an ad for wanted. was that a blue one?

The color of the interior really depends on what color the OUTSIDE of the car is going to be.

i would have to say that depends on the person craig. my mav is black and white outside and black and blue inside. cavalier is red outside with three shades of blue and a white inside.

If the dash is the same color as a kick panel or something else you can take out then take it to a paint store that matches colors and have some paint matched for your dash. That's what I did for mine and it turned out well.

In that case, I would say your only interior color options are blue or black. I would go with blue.
