http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/browseimages.php?do=member&imageuser=8806 Came upon this Mav while browsing. The user hasn't posted here in 2 years though so I doubt I would be abel to contact em about the seats. Anyone know if those are seats from another car or are they just reupholstered seats.
I'm pretty sure those are Maverick LDO buckets that have been re-upholstered. I've got a 73 LDO and take a look at the photo of mine and note the headrest matches exactly. I've done a little custom painting on my original vinyl.
highbacks cost more, and you'll need higback bucket seat tracks to go with them. unless your tall. highbacks sit lower so they require the highback tracks which are much taller than LDO tracks :Handshake i love my LDO seats! they're very comfortable but eventually they'll go in exchange for highbacks!
Well I'm 5'9 and with my bench right now my head pretty much comes really close to hitting the roof of the car. Do bench seats sit higher or lower compared to buckets? I never really even thought about it until now.
btw, unless I find some before you sell em, send me a PM regarding those LDOs and tracks. I would gladly buy em off of you.
yeah i'll have mine for quite some time...i'm in debt with my dad on some other projects i have going on the car lol! (go fast goodies...) but i'll let you know first if for some reason i end up swapping them out. :Handshake
Not sure, but I think buckets are a touch lower. The LDO style have a "supersoft" vinyl, if they are original. It's supposedly softer than the vinyl used on highbacks and benches. Plus, they have reclining back rests, which the high backs don't. I have LDO's in my car, and love them. I'm 5' 11", and have plenty of head room, even with a western hat on.
