Just ordered a Grabber stripe kit and Grabber hood decal from PhoenixGraphix. It was a quick decision and I didn't really take the time to research. Do these guys provide decent stripes/decals? Or did I just throw away some money?

Ive never ordered stripes from them even though they are 45 Minutes from me....let us know if you like the quality, also im wondering if the materials they use are 3M .....3M supplied original stripes and are best quality.

I used their stripes on a Chevy Monza Spyder I restored and didn't have a problem with them what so ever. It was a few years ago though and I did use the 3 - 4 drops of dish washing liquid per gallon of water trick to position them.

I bought a set of decals from them for a Trans-Am once, and I thought they were perfect.

I'm actually having second thoughts about the black striping and am wondering what white would look like on grabber orange. Any members hear have that scheme? (couldn't find anything in the gallery)

I know that black striping on orange looks great, but I'd really like to see white stripes and, if I like It, change my order.

Orange with White would look pretty cool, the only thing I would worry about, is the material being too thing, and the Orange showing through.
I'd want to find out the thickness. The stripes I have on my Green car, are a much thinner material than I use for the lettering my work vans.

I have Phoenix Graphx on my car . A good product and good people to deal with..

    Jay

When installing take your time and think about it before try it ..

The way I did it I installed the front, then the rear, then the doors to line up the strip

I received the decals, but haven't opened the box yet. I'm out of town for the week AND my car is currently being repainted. Hopefully I can get them put on in the next few weeks.

I bought a stripe kit from them before also, and believe you will be quite pleased with your purchase.

Glad to hear it. I ordered the black grabber stripe kit as well as striping for the hood. I also ordered the suggested tools and liquid (whatever it was they suggest getting to have the best success at installation.

Once the car is back from paint, I'll probably use my buddy's heated warehouse to do the installation (I'm told it's not good to try to install striping/decals when it is cold).

If you can get the car up in the air so you don't have to stand on your head to install them. The liquid i used was Dawn dish washing soap and a plastic bondo spreader. When you pull the backing paper form strip pull it off at a 45 deg. angle and due it slow . Use spreader to remove bubbles and water from under the strips.

Side stripes turned out pretty good I think. The car is starting to look like I want it to. :)
