Ever since I bought my Maverick I've known that there has been a leak somewhere in the car whenever it rains hard and I always thought it was the windshield, so I got the windshield resealed and it still leaks. If it rains real hard my passenger floorboard gets soaked. This really concerns me cause I would really like to keep my floor pans nice and rust free. My cowl vents are good, btw. Is it possible that water leaks in through the drip rails, cause I have noticed that the seam sealer there has seen better days. It is cracked in many places along the drip rails.

It could be in the cowl still..from what I found this week, just testing with a hose wouldn't find what I found. How about behind the fenders, below the cowl, they can get rusty in there.

are you talking about in that little corner behind the fender? I'm having a similar issue but can't visualize where u're talking about.

And they can leak from the the A-pilar to underneath the dash. Mine leaks on the passenger side from the windshield, down a support bracket, to just behind the front of the dash and onto the package tray. I've installed new windshield gasket and had it sealed. Still leaks. Now I just lay a towel on the package tray. Cowl and vents are good. Good luck.

Microsoft paint makes it pretty simple, just remember to save your file as a .jpg or .gif
