Where (as from factory) does/do the horn/horns mount in the engine bay on a 72 Mav grabber? I have seen pics with a horn mounted on the driver side wall near the resevoir? Is that correct? I have 2 plugs, hence thinking there were two. Both Lows? And if that is correct, where do they mount. My thinking, cause its a Ford, that they/it were/was mounted like the Mustang's--on the radiator frame work???? Anyone with some help here and please pics to go along if you have 'em. How about the specs diagram???
    Thanks in advance!

My 73 Comet horn (1) is mounted on the drivers side rad support between the grille. I think it has just one wire.

Just one horn....just one wire. Horn grounds itself when mounted to apron.

Not from the factory....but anyone could have done anything, at any time in the lifetime of the car....

Thanks everyone--so I hear rad. support, one horn (L). Guessing the guy before me had more than one mounted. However have seen many in the salvage yard with one horn mounted to the side wall by the washer fluid tank. ?? That is why I asked. Like you say though, anyone could have done anything with them--but why mount it on the wall and not the rad support?? ?? Who knows??

Horn was not mounted on the radiator support...it was mounted on the driver's apron next to the windshield washer reservoir.

Every Mav I have owned has had the horn on the driver's inner fender by the washer reservoir.

Thanks, I stand corrected misread what was meant for some reason! That is where the horn was before, but there was a large hole near the drill point of the horn. I take it the golfball size hole was the original mounting place from some of the pics I have looked at on this site.
    Again, many thanks to all.
Im getting closer to having things back together--coming up on a year from the time I started the restoration process. Dang all, something always came up! lol Currently having to replace the gas tank as a sm drip was discovered over the winter sit in the garage. I'll let you know how that went some time! lol Thanks again!
