These cars are better in person than in the pics. Good detail, right proportions. I saw one of the first pics from factory and it didn't look good. I'm impressed now.

Oh, by the way, they're in Washington.

Wow - they've even got the gauges about right and everything! I thought the insides of Hot Wheels were generic. These even have vertical door panel seams!

Apparently they have a/c too, with a diffuser in the center of the dash. But they took the dash to the floor on the right side, cutting off the legroom. I wonder why they did that. My other cars don't do that.

There's even a little blip for the trunk keyhole! I think I'll make "vrooom" sounds for the rest of the evening. Goodnight.

I went through a Target store yesterday ... not here yet.

Hot Wheels, historically, have always gone West Coast to East Coast ... ever since the very first car. They were made in California and Hong Kong ... now it is Malaysia, etc ... West Coast is physically closer ... it won't be long now.

You also have to figure that in the normal order of retailing, you have to run the warehouse distribution centers out of the old stuff first, before the new stuff appears. They should be set up for "First-in-first-out" ... that way you don't have stuff getting shop-worn from setting there.

Sooooo ... what that means is that we all need to break out the credit cards, go into the stores, buy ALL the HWs on the shelves, keep them for about a month, and then, return them all ... that will get the Mavs into those stores. :thumbs2: :dancing:
