In the April issue of Modified Mustangs and Fords there is a 6 page article on a73 Maverick, owned by Josh Dillon, with a 4 cylinder turbo'd motor that runs 8.0 at 88 in the 1/8. He drives it to the track. It's his daily driver.
Where have you been hiding Don. You are normally up to speed (pun intended) on all the good poop around here. This guy with the Turbo 2.3 Maverick has had that car put together and running and ran it at the track and got tired of it and put it up for sale and all kinds of exciting stuff.

4 Cylinder Maverick Just read the article, and not only is this car quick in the eighth, he gets great gas mileage too. I ran a conversion chart and he should be getting close to 12:48 in the quarter . Not too shabby ! I want to know when we are going to see an article on a COMET grace the pages of Modified Mustangs & Fords. Time will tell eh ? Cometized
