I was just reading thru some of the older threads here and thought I'd share my experiences. I bought one thru MAS years ago and it wasn't even close. It was way to straight to even come close to fitting. They send me another...still not close. I gave up on their junk (no wonder they are no longer in business) and happened upon a Pinto frt spoiler. I fit but had gaps where the spoiler curves up on the vallance so I put some parting agent on my valance and clamped it into place. I then glassed up the gaps and finished off. I liked the looks of it much better. It tapers in sort of narrow much like a 60s Camaro chin spoiler. I don't have any pics of it when I had it on my car...but here's a pic of it off of the car now.

    I want one...
I really just want to do all the things that the purists hate to my car. Spoilers, scoops, big wheels out back jacked up sidepipes and lots of chrome and louvers etc. A paintjob with TOO MUCH flake in it like glitter.

Nope...I love the Pinto one (the bottom one). The others are useless.

Well, if you decide to toss any of the others, please toss one my way. I wouldn't mind the chance to try to make one fit...

I was messing around in the garage today and thought I'd take a look at these chin spoilers to see if I still had one I liked. First off is the Pinto one that I modified to fit the Maverick. I ran off the road with it so it need some repairing.

Here is the MAS Maverick spoiler. It doesn't even come close to fitting.

Last is a 71-72 Mustang spoiler I picked up for around $10 at a swap meet. I narrowed it and half a$$ed bonded it together to test fit it. It looks ok but the ends look bulky after I trimmed them down.

I must say the Pinto one is my fav. I think I'll start repairing it on rainy days and use it. I like the narrow look better than the wrapping Mustang style spoilers.

I love the chin and rear spoilers. The Dude thinks I'm going to ruin my car by putting them on (he's a purist) but I don't give a rat's patoot: that stuff is Awesome!

I agree that the Pinto one looks better but I imagine they're hard to find while the Mustangs' are everywhere. You had to narrow the 'Stang spoiler to get it to fit?
