I assume you're talking about a 5.0 block? Any bellhousing from 1966-up will bolt up. What tranny are you planning on running?

I used a 74 timing cover and a Professional Products damper on my 5.0.

No, you need a 50 oz balancer to match the crank and flexplate. Your best bet is to rob all this off a late 80's to 91 Crown Vic, Lincoln Towncar or Merc Marquis 5.0. You'll get the correct timing cover, balancer & waterpump to use V-belts, or use the Vic's accessories. The mid 80's Vic 5.0's still had the fuel pump boss cast into the timing cover, although the hole thru it wasn't always opened up for the fuel pump. You can easily forego the mech fuel pump anyway by using a MrGasket 12S electric pump.
