Early on in this thread I read that your are like 16 years old? Am I correct there?

Anyways, I am really new to this car thing myself. No one would teach me when I was younger so I had to wait until I could afford it on my own which was literally January 1st of 2010 when I bought my very own first MAVERICK! (Im 20 now)

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you and your thread are what inspired me to tear down my engine bay and give it a complete re-do. I hope my 250 and engine bay turn out as good as yours did.

I have taken out so many different bolts and parts over the past two months (limited to my days off and decent non-snow weather). A majority of which I had no clue of what they were called - has taken me alot of research in that department....Anyway, you guiding through your progress has helped me alot :D Thanks and keep it up

Rear end almost done only brake lines and bleeding the brakes. Shocks all done and painting the drums and thats about it for the rear end.

Also, was the 4 bolt a 8 in or 7.5 rear? Check both rears and see if yoke is the same length

Just got home from Cliffs place from working on the car got the drive shaft in. It had a rubber bushing supporting it going in the transmission I just wasnt pushing hard enough to get it into the rear end. After measuring everything again but shes in and drivable.:yahoo: Going to take her for a little spin tomorrow to make sure the brakes work and install the tach and level the other seat and then body work and prime it by the end of May.
