What brand of shift kit (if any) will make the tires chirp, while the trans(c4) is shifting down the road?

The TransGo kit for 70-up is the #40-2.
If you have the 67-69 C4 then use the #47-2 TransGo kit.
PA is getting some very bad press lately on their valve bodies. I have seen a lot of people trying to get them to fix problems only to hear the CS folks tell them there is nothing wrong - they put their original VB back in and everything works fine. Still PA says there is nothing wrong with the part. You have to pay the shipping and for the inspection when they "don't find anything wrong". It is in the fine print.
B&M has had problems for years with their C4 kits and just keep selling them anyway. TransGo has been selling their kits since the late 60s or early 70s and have changed them over the years to keep up but have never had a lot of problems and if you have problems they are a phone call away with answers or parts - usually at no cost. (not even shipping)

Paul, will the transgo kit chirp the tires, during normal shifting,or is that something all together different?

The TransGo kits will shift like your mother's grocery getter (well almost) with light throttle but when you hold the pedal down they can get squirrley on the 1-2 shift and if you hold it down to the floor on the 2-3 shift it will put a smile on your face and on the face of your tire supplier.
If you like the tire chirp then use the "full race" instructions in the kit. You can still drive grandma to church on Sunday but when you want it to shift "with authority" you can have all you want.
