OK, I thought you might have used the original shock mounts. Should be good to go!

:Welcome:to the board. I hope you can make it to the Colby Cruise , in Everett, Memorial Day weekend. And the MCCI Mini Meet, in Issaquah @ the XXX Root Beer (last Sunday in July). And of course the NAMCC Mega Ford Weekend in Canada @ Mission Raceway in September. Hoping to get a good turnout from the USA this year. Can't wait to see it in person. Do you know John Carlson, in Snohomish? He has a 72 Grabber he races...

Love the work you have done!! Can't wait to see more as it progresses. Can you post up a few more of the front end both inside and out?? Interested in getting a look at you install.

What brake booster did you use? I am in the middle of the R&C install as well and will be running rear discs as well so I am curious what you went with.

WOW!! Thanks for the additional pictures! Could you post up a couple more of the covers that you fab'ed up that cover the opening for the supension? I really like the idea of those. Would love to see better pics of them from both inside the engine bay and from the suspension side.

    How did you make them?

Also I would love to see more pics of the car as a whole...

    ok, update- March 25, 2010
Very frustrating weekend on the Mity Mav.. seems like everything I touched turned to "poop" and just frustrated the people who were helping me. I know its all part of the "game" but cant something just be easy every once in a while? Pretty sure the Mity Mav will not be making its debut appearance at the Colby show at the end of the month-- just too much left to do. Thats bummin' me.

Does anyone have info on headers that will fit a Maverick with a 347. I have edlebrock performer heads. I tried some JBA midlength headers-- No go! I have heard that maybe the Hooker 6901's are a good choice, but am looking to have that confirmed.

Got the motor in, and the valve cover is hitting my brake booster-- grrrrr.. gotta figure that out.

Im trying to put a C-4 tranny in.. not sure what cross member to use-- the one I thought would fit, doesnt-- anyone have any idea on this? ( I cant for the life of me remember what kind of cross member I bought it was off ebay--) So, the tranny cant go in til I figure that out.

Anyway.. no progress to report except I figured out everything that doesnt fit.
One bright note: I did get the license plate light installed.. yeah! go me!

Anyway, if anyone has any info that might help me solve some problems here, please feel free to share it.. Im ready for some good news.
    Keep ya posted...
    Terri

Hi Terri, I'm not sure if a stock Maverick application header will fit your car with the Mustang II front suspension. Maybe a Mustang II 302 header is what you are looking for. Lots of Maverick owners have done this swap and I'm sure you will get an answer one way or another. (y)
