My 73 Maverick Progress

    Well since somebody said i never get anything done, i decided to post this thread i was gonna wait a little bit but here it is. Well first i started by installing the cam, cam sounds great totally different sound, Next we installed the built 9 inch trac loc with 3.50 gears. Next is the disc brake front end, I painted the calipers with caliper paint gonna clean the rotors and get the front end on and installed tonight pictures will come soon! After that im taking it to the muffler shop and having flow masters installed. Lets remember this all happened in 1 day :) I got a few pictures for now but more come tommorrow! I also took my bucket seats down and am gonna take them to the upholstery shop soon.

    Well good for you :thumbs2: A cam installation in one day is a big accomplishment in itself.

    what Flowmasters are you going to use? i loved my 40series :bouncy:
    But next i'm swapping to the single chambered ones.

    Not quite sure yet, im gonna take to volunteer muffler and see what they sell me :D I just got tired of the side pipes i have and the sound is way to loud i want a good sounding pipe.

    congrats on the progress. even if you completely restore it to cherry then sell it, then start on another, that just makes you a mav lover. i had a neighbor who did that with model t's for years.he did not make a living from it, but made enough to keep building them.
