Hello everyone sorry for not posting any updates but I have been really busy with the car. Got my dash died, talked to my uncle(body man) next weekend if the weathers good we are doing the dents and the rust stops. then sanding the whole car then its off to get primed. then take her for a test drive before going to the United States.

Thanks Matt but they got to come back off so I can prime it.

 

My fender is fixed unfortunately I did not take a picture before cutting out the rust but its fixed now.

 

what brand/ type of vinyl dye did you use ? I might try dyeing my door panels from green to black. Anyone have any luck changing door panel colors?

I think it was dupli-color vinyl/carpet die.I did my carpet at was a olive green and it cover fine.

 

Hello everyone I got GREAT news got all the body work is done yesterday and today with the help of my uncle; got the whole car sanded down first with 220 grit then with 320 grit. now shes off to get painted! (vermillion) it was only suppost to be primed but but its being painted now! YES!. Now all I have to do is mask everything off get it painted Should have it back on by the end of the week which leaves me with only 15 days! to put it back together but I will get-r-done!. I will post some pictures later.

Yeah but its my own fault sould have been working on it more offen then I was. But atleast I got three good things out of it. I sweet car, bodywork experience, and a nice tan! lol and just ofcourse the experience of taking the car apart and puting it back together. Thanks Matt I will be finished for the car show even if I have to being working on it in the hotel parking lot haha or really late nights at Cliffs place; but she will be done.

I cant wait; My mom got right in there with me today. cant spend mothers day any other way then sanding your sons car haha. She showed up in her work clothes and got right in there helpping me sand the puppy down .
