Well it was moved to cosmetic which makes even less since to me considering it deals with paint and body work.. tech deals with upgrades.. A cupholder in a maverick is an upgrade IMO.

It's also a cosmetic part of the interior... I mean really if you just want something to hold a cup, get one of those ghastly things that clip to a window. But if you care how it looks, it's about cosmetics.

And, I guess, it could be technical if you're planning to fab something up with fiberglass, but generally speaking there's not much tech involved in a cup holder. Although there could be.

Who knows where the thread really belongs? Dr. Mo just wants to drink coffee in traffic without scalding his junk. There could be lives at stake, people.

The thread could be placed in many sections.. Maybe the sections should be made more clear..... This thread could be placed in parts interchange to...

Why argue about it? The people with the power moved it here, and it's not you place to question that. If you don't like how it's run, you can leave again...

Im just saying shadow master had to comment and argue the position of this.... But when you really look at the topics this thread could belong in 3 different sections. And just suggested something to improve it... Make the topics more clear so people dont make the mistake over again.. Ya know just trying to improve the site the opposite of what you do, by always giving smart A$$ answers and thinking your better then everybody else.

I've noticed several times how our member with the moniker "Arrogant Little Man" enjoys his barbs and caustic remarks. He hit his byline on the nose.

Well, if you continue to talk about nothing, you'll never get the answer..

Yes, I have, and I'm not scared to call it like I see it, I never have. :tiphat:

Come on guys get a real problem. Gees. Its only a forum. Who cares where Stephan puts the topics?? Who cares if Dave is an arrogant little man?? We cant all be sugar and spice. I get in crap all the time for being straight forward and callin it like it is. Especially with customers. Its just the way I am. I just doesnt jive with the car dealership mentality sometimes.
Cup holders are cosmetic as far as I'm concerned. Unless someone wants to write a tech article on making one. Ah whatever...:hmmm::D

Mashori; get a humphugger console from a Mustang resto house, and your problem is solved. They even make them for bench seats, and have two cupholders.

Go to the local Pic-n-pull and check out the mini trucks. Some of the bench seats have cup holder mounted to the front of them. I'm sure with a little ingenuity they can be made to mount to the front of the Mav / Comet bench seats.

seems like that's really the best option. looks good and it's functional. I should have plenty room to bolt it down as well.

I didn't read thru the whole thread....but I'm sure it's been said. A roll of duct tape holds a drink pretty good!
