    Hey Jimbo,
Thanks, though I do have a basic white full face snell rated lid, but Matt might be bucking for one if he's running sub 14's.

hehe, the grabber has been good to me over 20+ years of driving long distances. However, in the process of racing if the guy next to me bumps me or if i n00b out and break something with a mis shift or break the stock rear axle or even a u joint (which i shouldnt but did on my truck once) then im two and a half hour drive from home. of course when i broke the truck i was in mojave, got lucky that i was still walking distance from kragen LMAO!

    sierraGrabber,

Well, if you break something we will just fix it. I live 2-1/1 hours North of SacTown, but have friends there and in Stockton plus I have the car trailer for the Maverick.
Have you had it to a local strip where you live? If you have hammered on it then odds are good that nothing would break.....................but if it does we'll fix it.

my car is AWESOME off the line...buuuut with your foot all the way in it, get to about 45ish and it cuts in and out...runs like crap if you get on it at high speeds. no racing for me  and right now, i REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna be able to get as much money as possible for interior and bodywork cause i would so love to drive it a few months during my senior year with it complete. which is next year... still gotta pay back my dad for whats been done on the car recently then i can finally put a few dollars in my pocket. i doubt i'll get enough saved up but i'm gonna try...bumpers rechromed, paint, stripes, wheels, rust repair, interior...allllll sooooo expesive...

i'll tinker with the carb and see if anythng changes...

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
So is pacific raceway in Kent or Auburn?

My friend told me its in auburn(she lives there), but on pinks all out they said it was in Kent :hmmm:

I would literally trade my maverick to live in WA :D
I tried to get a job there back in march when Delta Cams was hiring, but no luck.

sounds like a restriction in the fuel line/filter,blow compressed air tru the fuel line and remove the gas cap so it can vent out.make sure your float level is correct on the carb, and while it is apart clean with carb cleaner and run compressed air thru every nuke and cranny, or as mentioned before, your timing is off a little.

No worries, gates open at 4. With the usual 2 hour waits between runs, you'll be just in time.

    or,

Acknowledged. It's just that the weather has been so ridiculous this month (near constant rain), that I jumped at the chance when I heard it will be clear.

After this Friday, the next shot at T&T is July 16th.

Yearly Pacific test and tune thread revival post.

May try and hit T&T on the 15th next month. Gates open at 4:30

(hope the tranny anitflare kit still holds up with even more torque being thrown at it).
