rust/damage fix or wait till shop?

    Long story short, I knew there was damage under rear bumper. Pulled to look at it and to paint my bumper. Looks like the bumper was hit and pushed in, then the metal poorly patched. I sanded off all the rust and coated with rust treatment. I am taking the car in the fall to have the inside of my fenders done. The question is; do i just primer and paint for now till they get to it, or should I fiberglass it till they get to it. Final pic attached. More here if interested.

    Either way I am going to have them fix it, cuz I dont have the equipment or skill. Just wandered what I need to do till then.

    I would just put a coat of a good rust paint on it.
