Have you checked ebay? Several sellers list paint kits and at fairly decent prices. Not sure about the quality of all of them, but do search like "gallon paint" on ebay motors and you will see several options. I've ordered paint and primer online several times and it's no big deal. They just ship it ground. Here's an example

Here's the company I buy my paint from on eBay- http://www.paintforcars.com/ Very reasnonable prices, and good quality. Summit is also selling paint now. Never used any of their's, so I can't say about the quality but the prices aren't bad...

    Heres the formula:
7 Ozs' per panel/per coat (average) X # of panels to be painted.
This will give a good Idea of how much paint you need.
Figure an extra 2 ozs per if you use reds or greens (they dont cover as well as other colors do)

    put it this way

if you have 1 gallon of paint when you mix it with the reducer you will have 2 gallons of paint to spray

just buy the full gallon so you will have extra for later if something happens

Not all paints are reduced 1:1 some are 3:1 some are 2:1 some are 4:1 to1 etc... You dont allways end up with a gallon.

took me a gallon and a quart of color, and 3 qts of clear (needed a gallon)

I painted all the jambs, cowl, and the exterior this was with the base mixing 2:1 and the clear mixing 4:1
