    things seem better as of now. Only think I notice I cannot see the # of pages on a post until I actually open a particular post.

    I also am thinking you were meaning to say that you can't see the # of pages a thread has untill you are reading a post in the thread. I would say that's normal... but I could be out in left field and the ball is flying towards the right field.
