I was wanting one of those old school looking 3 spoke Grants but all of the ones I found around here are a little over 13" (seems a little too small to me). Then I bought one on ebay that appears to be what is called a Classic Series 3 and it is 15" like I wanted. So all I have is the typical chrome horn button but I was wanting something a little different. I see that Mustangs Unlimited lists a different horn button that loosely ressembles a 65 Mustang horn button. There is also the chrome one that has a small logo like a Ford oval.

Here's the question...for those of you that are using a Grant, what horn button do you use? Any ideas of where to get something Maverick related to use as the emblem on them? Seems like I have used the emblems off of a key fob or a center cap sticker. I can't find stuff like that with a Maverick logo.

Here is a pic of one like I got with the a Mustang horn button

Nice, now I know what to get for my Mav steering wheel. Does anyone make them for a Comet?

If I remember right, that should be a 67 Stang by the washer pump pedal. I found that pic on Photobucket to show the wheel I bought. It hasn't arrived yet.

A word of caution as I posted before that Grant wheel could have burnt up my car. The wires for the horn are very tiny and mine shorted to the button spring. Luckily I was in the car when it happened and ripped off the horn button. That wheel went in the trash due to its poor design for the horn. If you must use that wheel do what I did and run a relay on the horn and use the existing horn circuit to ground the relay. I run this on my factory wheel. Its a much safer wiring set up as opposed to the factory 12v horn feed through the horn buttons. I gets rid of one 40 year old 12v feed through the column. The ground side control on the relay is very low current.
