Goto, www.photobucket.com, and set up an account, then you can link to your pictures that you have uploaded to photobucket, using that thing that looks like mountains with a square thing in the corner (above where you type your post)
With photobucket, you don't have to resize them.
    This thing:

Then you cut and paste the direct link into the box.

eh.. do what dave said or resize them anyway. You can right click (ctrl+click on mac) and select 'properties' ('info' on mac) and see the exact size to be sure if u want...
not saying that's definitely the problem, but u don't sound too sure about ur troubleshooting.

there are two methods to load pics. the method your trying to do is the one that puts pics in the little film strip looking thing that you have to click on to see in a bigger size. thats what the instructions above are for. this way stores the pics on this web site. the other way is the way that puts the full size pics directly into the posts is to click on the square with the moutians and green sun then put a link to the pic that is save else where on the internet like photo bucket.

what i do is open the pic in a new widow and have the thread i want to post in open in its own window. i type in the text i want then goto the photo bucket window. on there is a box that says share this image. i will double click the direct link line then right click over it and choose copy. now i will go back to this window and click the moutain box and delete where it says http. then right click in that box and choose paste. the image will apear like this.
