    To be honest,I actually have around 2600 hot wheels all together,some of everything.All mine are of old cars,no strange stuff.

    If you use a Dremel and a cylindrical bit, on some cars you can shave the mushroomed portion of the post off,
    but leave almost all of the length. This works especially well on the older HWs with metal bases.

    Do it right, the car just about snaps back together with no glue.

    I JB Weld to put a body and chassis back together. I don't trust superglues to work in the long haul,
    plus I think that some of them can mess up some plastic chromes.

    Seems like the paint jobs are getting worse as time goes by. :hmmm: Crooked lines... door handles that are part chrome part blue/yellow. Oh well.
    Can't wait to try my hand at repainting one myself! :rolleyes:

    I just got 4 more the other day and 2 of them were buggered up. none of my yellow ones are goofy strangely enough....

    Just found a yellow '62 Mustang prototype, all the others were white. The 67 Shelby is in two colors as well, white and green...off topic, but thought I would mention it...
