I do have a lot more, and i'll post the spoiler ones in a bit. They had weird spoilers down there i remember seeing one in person that caught my eye. Unfortunalty i didnt take a camera during that trip in 05. But i found a car later on that had the same exact spoiler. But its different than the Shelby one.

    Spoiler

I've actually seen one of these spoilers in person.
It's not like the Shelby one though.

Two surviving shelby de mexico mavericks possibly spotted in mexico.

TWO SURVIVING SHELBY DE MEXICO MAVERICKS POSSIBLY SPOTTED IN MEXICO.

I have found a facebook page entry from a guy in Mexico that appears to be a Mustang Club Puebla, A.C. member.

If you read down, he mentions spotting two of the surviving Shelby de Mexico Mavericks in Puebla, Mexico. One of them the "Gold" color, that is listed as one of the 6 colors Shelby de Mexico used.

Again, I translated it using Google Translate.

So Maverick75, if you can email or contact this group in Mexico, about these Shelby de Mexico Maverick sightings, that would be awesome.

Here is the facebook page, Mustang Puebla Club page, and the Google translation:

"so it's Maverick shelby, I know of two in the city of Puebla, one that was badly damaged and its owner gave it to a mechanic as payment for some repairs and a gold color that is in very good shape and suddenly be seen our streets."

Thanks Maverick75. From the Facebook page, it looks like the name of the guy is Alex, and he posted this about 2 months ago. It says his latest post was on May 3, 2010, so this is fairly recent posting.

Hey Maverick75, If you can ask them nicely if they have ANY additional information about these Shelby de Mexico Mavericks in general, even if they don't have pics or know where to find them, that would be great!

I know from the facebook page that these guys have seen the pictures of the original Eduardo Velazquez's Shelby de Mexico Maverick at the auto show, because they posted links to the same pictures we have, but from another website. This makes me believe they at least are knowledgable enough when they spot a Maveick with these options. They sound very knowledgable of the Shelby de Mexico story in general. So good luck.

Looks like they are still putting those "Euzkadi" brand tires on the Mavericks down in Mexico, like the Shelby de Mexico Maverick had on it.

I found a picture of a 4 door Maverick, in Mexico, that has VERY SIMILAR rims and tires, to the one on the infamous Shelby de Mexico Maverick:

Here is an auto adveritsement that I found on a Mexican website that appears to have been an ad for a supposed "one of 300" Shelby Mexican Mavericks.

I wonder if the picture in the Ad is of one of the original Mexican car dealerships that sold the modified Shelby de Mexico Mavericks, or if they are misleading the buyer, and it is actually the clone, and a different magazine cover, that was featured in this thread:

    http://www.maverick.to/mmb/showthread.php?t=46213

    The Google translation says this:

    "1972 SHELBY MAVERICK
    The prodigal son FORD

THIS CAR IS REALLY A TOY TO STEAL YOUR VIEW THAT ANYWHERE EXCIBICIONES VAYAS.HA PARTICIPATED IN, AND WAS IN ONE OF THEM WHERE posed for the V8 MUSCLE CARS MAGAZINE in its collector's edition No. 12 FOR COLLECTORS an opportunity to have one of the 300 shelby maverick that went into Mexico in perfect condition.
