Nashville TN or Atlanta GA. I don't have a dog in this fight yet, but would like to see it closer to the southeast one time. I can't take off but a day or so, and the midwest or even KY is too far for me....

I heard that Doug Bauer presented a proposal at the mcci round-up for Texas 2011.

My wife and I are doing the same. We decided that that's what our tax return is good for.

For any location to become a reality, there must be someone there to make it happen. It appears there is no one in either Nashville or Atlanta that wants to put forth that effort or has an interest in it. Somerset is a day's drive for half of the USA. In the Cougar community, we always had an East and West National show because of the wideness of the USA. Definately something to think about in the future.

I would like to see it held somewhere that is close to everyone, but that is not possible. I think having one toward the west coast would be awesome. Maybe I wouldn't go through so many tires. But, I for one will try to drive wherever it is as the fun and the friendships you make are priceless. I know some of the wives have concerns about going to a CAR Gathering but you will find out that it is a great family vacation. There are activities for all the kids and adults too. I hope to see you all there in 2011.:bananaman

But that would be 6.5 hours away for me :D

I agree. I would love to host one here in Bama, but just don't have the time or a decent place. Tuscaloosa or Jasper are the two largest cities close to me, but they really don't have much to offer. That's why I suggested Atlanta or Nashville. Within a 4 hour drive for me and many others that normally don't get to go to a "National" event. Like I said, I don't have a dog in there yet, but will have before long. Just gotta remind myself to do it!:D
What about it TN or GA guys? Anybody want to step up? I'll help if I can, but my attempts at a mini meet have been far from successful. Did manage to have two Mavericks and four Mav owners last year to show up in Tupelo, but this year it was only my car and one other Mav owner showed up. Just a suggestion....take it for what it's worth.....
