I don't know if this is the kit everyone talks about, but is this the one where people suggest to not use the bushings it comes with and instead use Moog bushings?

    Cheers!

If it comes with polyurethane bushings. They ride hard, but give more control. Do Not Use the strut rod bushings if they are poly. They don't give, and can break the strut rods, leaving you out of control. Buy the rubber bushings.

I'm just gonna go and buy the Moog rubber bushings just to avoid anything. Off the top of your head, how many do you think would be needed for everything up front cause a lot of mines ar epretty much gone.

Strut rod bushings, sway bar bushings, shock bushings, and if you are removing the springs, the spring upper pads. I think that is it. Same goes for the rear suspension, poly bushings have better control but a bad ride. Good luck!

I had a PST kit put in my Comet (the one w/ polygraphite bushings). It handles really good, but it rides rough and after a few hours of driving the frontend squeaks/groans worse than it did with 35 y/o worn out parts. I'll probably replace it all with rubber bushings and Moog parts when I do the disc swap.

I have a PST kit in my blue mav but I only used the poly stuff for the sway bar.
Havent had a problem with any of it in the 7 or 8 yrs its been on the car.

Any special reason for using Poly on the sway bar? I plan on doing bushing soon and just want to get all the info I can B4 hand.

The poly bushings do not deflect like the rubber ones do. This allowes the sway bar to do its job more effectively...

I just installed the PST kit, and well I havn't driven yet, I can say it all went together with no issues. Nice kit, good price, we'll see how it handles.

Actually went with the Laurel Mountain Mustang front end suspension kit for the 68-73 Stangs and went on over to Napa and picked up rubber bushings. Still waiting on the bushings to arrive before putting on everything though. Cheers!
