Theyre the brazilian ones. Do a search to see how hard theyre to get. I think your best shot would be to contact Chirt He has an amazing brazilian clone .

If you did go to Brazil, would it be possible to put the tailights in your luggage? I wonder what customs would say?:hmmm:

I think thats how Chirt got his. I remember reading about how his dad takes trips there. There was also a member who bought some and had them shipped here. If you do a search you can find the info.

well, It's kind of hard when you don't have people there and the worse is dealing with shipping. No, I think the hardest part is to find a good set of lights they're rare to find and when you do people want big bucks for them like mine cost me US $200.00 not including shipping.
these are in good shape: http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/...anterna-traseira-77-78-79-excelente-estad-_JM

    http://lista.mercadolivre.com.br/lanternas-maverick

so 1 US dollar buys 1.78 Reais Brazilian money just so you'll have an idea of costs then add another (I'm guessing here)50-60 Us dollars for shipping.

    Hope this helps.

Why is it so hard to order parts and shipping so costly from Brazil?

I've bought things for my Maverick from England, Germany and Hungary and never came across shipping costs that were a great deal more than was expected, seeing as they were coming from another country.

PS: I just hit 3,000 posts with this one - guess I'll celebrate by buying a new master cylinder for my Maverick - but not from Brazil LOL! :party4:
