I guess it's just me...but I really wouldn't want a 71-72 Grabber hood on a 70 model since they never came with them. Personally I like the flat hoods...the rise of the frt looks pretty good. Of course if I had a 71-72 Grabber...I would want the Grabber hood.

Yeah I thought about that for a while. I dont know, i just like them. I am however putting back the grill with no lights, and lights under the bumper. Go figure...

I personaaly don't care for the gabber hood either but, if you want to put one on your car because you like it go for it. you're not building a original car anyways and most people don't know any better, all they want to know is if your car is really a grabber. And to that point if you want to build a clone who cares its not like a grabber was anything but a cosmetic option anyways. JMO.

Not to rob your thread but on the site it says 302-351 headers..... is this some cruel joke or has some one tried these on a 351?

I am not sure. I know they make the stuff when you order it, so maybe they have different sizes that they make depending on what you order?

Grabbers were built with 6 cylinders, 4 lug drum brakes ,and Bench seats.

Just in case you did`nt know.:yup: I was`nt sure if you were just kidding or not,so if you already know this stuff .....never mind.

Just an FYI .My car came with a Bench seat, column shift, and of coarse 5 lug Drum brakes. But it is a V-8 car.

I was being sarcastic. But I have been told by "experts" on the street that ALL grabbers had V8s, which I know was wrong.

Grabber hoods are good repair material for flat hoods.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Those are the only 351W headers that actually work in these cars. The only issue is that there not available all the time. I wish crites made a teardrop hood for ours cars.

I can fit a 4x8 drywall in my van. That hood should fit ok too, right?
