    .

    306 c.i.
    custom comp cam
    .545 intake & exhaust lift
    .244 dur.i&e
flat top pistons had to have them slightly fly cut for valve clearance.
    victor jr intake
    750 mech sec holley
    .74 primary jet
    .84 sec jet
    1.6 roller rockers
    7/16 studs and guide plates
    ported aluminum heads
    2.05 intake valve
    1.60 exhaust valve.
    c-4 tranny
    4500 rev max stall
    4.10 gear
valves are big for a 306 i know but i intend to use heads on a 408 at a later date. will have to spin motor fairly hard to take advantage this set up but who races at 3500 rpm anyways lol. should be in the 6200 to 6800 range.

i use the 7 qt oil pan to keep plenty of oil for motor.

Your combo is similar to mine except the heads cant wait to see how they both run!:thumbs2: the oil pan is tight around the lower a arms (y) but i got mine in with little problems.

    .

well old combo with e6 heads and .512 lift cam went 8.19 et at 86 mph in 1/8th.
hopefully will run high 7's. 7.80 to 7.90 just a guess. but it will be a bit before i can get to a track. actually have no idea what it will do, made a lot of changes went from 3200 stall to 4500 the heads and cam etc. sooo just will have to wait and see.

yes i read about you breaking the 8" .i have a c-4 in mine so it shouldnt shock the rear as hard on launch.. ive ran this 8 " for about 5 years but it could break just have to see.
but cant wait to hear how your combo runs.
