colour question

    '76 maverick 4-door, '79 Chevy K5 Blazer, '04 GMC Sierra 1500
    do you think a 4-door maverick would look good in plum crazy purple?i like it on challengers and chargers and cars like that but i aint sure about a maverick. what do you guys think?

    I thnik just about any color can be made to look gud. It depends on who does the work and quality of workmanship. No matter what color u paint it, you will have a difference of opinions. I say go for what u like - It's ur car and ur money. Resale value on these cars are not that great according to a lot of things I've read on this forum - So do what u like.

    I am going thru the same battle. RED vs PURPLE. I like the red, its classic and fits the era. Purple is my fav color, always wanted a purple car. Just not sure it fits the 70 maverick look.
    To answer your orginal question, yes I think it would look good.

    ok, thanks. i think i picked my colour, now to figure out a stripe pattern and a colour for the stripes

    go for it man my 73 comet gt is going to be plum crazy purple with blacked out tail light panal an black comet gt stripes i think it'll look great my dad an i share the maverick grabber an while i came up with doing both in grabber blue i changed my mind an wanted to do them in the plum crazy but he is stuck on blue for the grabber but i thought the maverick would look good done the same way as for my comet it was't worth fixing but done made floors for it an got a maverick parts car with perfect quarters an my bro is awesome at body work thank god if they let me post pics i'm bout to paint under the hood in a few weeks an will post some pics just pulled the motor last night it'll be awhile befor its done
