New race engine being built...can you guess what it is?

    Well a friend of mine is putting together a new race engine. A big ATTABOY!!! goes out to anyone who can guess what it is.

    possibly a mopar A4 for a midget racer? that's about as close as I can figure.

    must be a micro machine motor. pics to small. looks like a slant 6 that is missing two cylinders.

    How about a 2.3/2.5l HSC or could it be a 1.6/1.9l CVH???

    Cant tell if they are spark plug holes or are they glow plug holes?? I was thinking diesel looking at that block and cylinders?? Dont have a clue what make though.

    10 (y) to you, it is a Mercruiser 3.7 aka one half of a 460 Ford factory rated at 195hp.Should be around 400hp when completed.
