Anybody got some pics of rear valances that have been modified for the exhaust tips to be run through? If so, what or who did you use as your source for dressing up the hole?

I bought a set of 72 Corvette tips and cut a valance to recess them in. I boxed the opening with sheet metal. I think I sold the set up to somebody on here. If not, they are up in my attic. I found a different set of tips that I like much better, they are more rounded. So I will be modifying another valance when the time comes.

I like that one a lot 55crownvic. How'd you get the flare look around the cutout?

I welded a u-bolt from a muffler clamp to the valance, filled it with weld then added some filler and voila. The exhaust shop did a super nice job with the pipes!

I like that one as well. I think I might just have to try that. Time to add some tail pipes. (y)

Mavaholic, you sold the valance and tips to me, just haven't had a chance to put them on. Will post pics when I do.

I'm changing my mind, this one is my pick now and looks like a simple one to pull off. Thanks for keeping the ideas coming!(y)
