Ordered the hood today. Hopefully it will be ready on Nov 10th when I am already in Columbus, save me about 2hrs drive and $120 in shipping.
i have a crites teardrop hood on galaxie and it is very nice quality. not like some others i have had.
yah but that's before people found out that less material = more $$ in there pockets i bet if you bought the same hood today it would not last as long
Not yet. I am hoping to pick it up when I am down there (2hrs away) for a meeting on Nov 10. She was kinda funny about me picking it up. I will save $130 in shipping if I can get it then. It takes 3-4 weeks to make, and I ordered it at the 3 1/2 week mark.
I picked up my hood today. Folks there were very friendly. Looks good to my untrained eye. I will let you know what the body shop says.

Are the scoops removable? If so id go with a pair of stock ones. I dont like that mesh at all and they dont look like they fit all that well. But the hood looks pretty nice!
I've got the steel ones off my old hood.maybe use them or just get some metal mesh and have it cut to fit.
