Sanding

I continued the sanding I started on last year . My arms are sore and my knees hurt, but I will go out again in a few minutes.
I was cleaning out the shop to make room to work on the Comet and came across the receipt for all the materials I bought to get the car in primer, almost been a whole year!
I spent 5 almost 6 hrs last night sanding and taping off. I love our air vents by the way. I spent too much time hesitating at and staring at the GT stripes.. I hated to see them go . I also found some work that needs to be done on the rocker panels and the lip on the bottom. Slightly motivated..

 

keep at it. It is a marathon, not a sprint. Oh, wait, maybe it is a sprint

 

He wishes it was but he only has a Comet. Poor Gene

 

Your just jelous cause when I get done, I may be 70 but, when I get done my Comet will look better than your Gagger

 

GAGGER that was funny got a chuckle out of me never heard that before.

 

I sanded some more.. almost done. Got the compressor too. Hoping to spray primer on Wednesday. Sure wish the motor wasn't in. I have decided I like the under hood the same color as the car.

The work isn't as impressive as what you and a few others have been showing lately. It's in a 2 car garage in the middle, 3M plastic covering is hanging etc.. I guess a pic or two would be ok. Next time..

Was out there today. Fixing to go back out to clean up for another round tomorrow.

I gotta say that I really havn't found a flat spot. Seems that it's all curvy or roundy.

 

Its flat across the tail lamp panel. Go sand that. Lookin good Gene.
