    72 sprint v/8 3 grabbers 73 comet and a 77 comet race car
    so me and Justin was pushing my Comet into the garage to start working on it (only been waiting 3 years) .Car has no spindles on it so we are using a floor jack .
    Does anyone know were this is going ??? Yep

    Jack hit a rock and stopped but car did not this is the end result :cry:

    Ouch! I crushed the bottom of the radiator in my friends Mountaineer because the jack didn't roll.

    Another foot back, with the jack under the crossmember, and you would have been OK :hmmm:

    Looks like it twisted the fender some too.. hopefully that will all straighten out when you replace the core support. Sorry to hear it.

    You should be able to push that back into shape. Just be patient and take it in small steps. That is the nice thing about metal. It can be bent back into shape. Get out the hammers.

    Honestly,from your photos,the core support looks all rusted out,and needed replaced anyway! I know now probably wasn't when you wanted to do it,but it's a whole lot easier now,than if your car was all assembled! Also your radiator wasn't squished either!:)

    Yeh it needed a little work on the inside near the corners. Now he can get down there and fix some rusted metal:huh:
