Took a few pics of my uncle's 2000 F150 Sport. The truck is currently at 456,xxx miles and should hit 500,000 roughly around this time next year. He bought the truck used in 2001 with 6,000 miles on it, and has driven it 235 miles a day round trip to work almost continuously since. He lives in NC and works in Chamblee, GA, but the truck has been all over the eastern U.S. when ever his job sends him out over the road.

4.2 V6/5 speed. We were using it to jump start the Expedition next to it. The only work the engine has ever had done is a new intake manifold gasket. The valve covers, timing cover, oil pan, etc. have never been off. Still quiet and runs smooth.

The money shot, 456,661.9 miles as of 11/20/2010.

Cool! I was amazed at the fact that Maverick Maniacs truck had 270000 miles on it pulling a full 16 foot trailer every day, but this is a whole new level!

Heck, my aunt's '97 Expedition we were jump starting next to it has 265,000. Neither vehicles pull trailers very often though. He did use his truck to pull a '96 Mustang convertible back from Illinois on a car dolly a few years ago.

Yeah, not too bad of a ride though. He only lives about a mile over the NC state line, it's about 12 miles to Blue Ridge, GA from where he lives. All highway from then on. It's going home in the evening that's a PITA, traffic on I-285 and I-75 is always a joke. Truck has been bumped in the front and rear a number of times, which is why the lower front bumper is gone.
