who else has them. I want to go down the track so bad I can't stand it. The mustang will be back together soon and hopefully the maverick will.

Yep. I absolutely have a hatred for winter. Between the cold and the sun going down 3 hours too soon, my productivity plummets.

COLD! It's gud thing u don't live in this part of the country. We have had 19 days this month the temps never got out of the 20's. My work on the car has plunged to zero, since B4 Turkey Day.
Im sure the guys north of me MN, WIS., ID., and Canada to name a few have had worse. We know what COLD is in this part of the world.
Southeast Alabama! Man! I cud work on the car year round....:yahoo:

You just have to fine something you enjoy in the Winter. I put the car away a get ready for fishing season. The cold dont bother me so long as the wind stays down. Thats the only thing that will keep me off the ice. The way I see I have the best of both worlds. A nice hot Summer for the car and boating. A nice cold Winter for my Ice Fishing.
How that for glass half full crap. LOL.

I hate winter too, and I'm in Texas! Track is open Sundays when the weather is good, but I don't like the people on Sundays, can get dangerous out there. It's a "nasty" 43 degrees now....BURR!!!

Here in NorCal is has been really wet.....................not the same as SoCal though, but winter is a good time to regroup and get ready for next race season.
I have been procrastinating about pulling the motor and trans but this week it will get done so I can pull the motor down/rebuild/replace and have the transmission ready to send/take to Mike's Trans in Lancaster. Also planning when and where to go this next year..........Champion in Medford, Redding of course, Somoa on the coast, Sacramento, maybe Infineon in Napa, I'd love go to Fomosa and maybe even Pomona.........some really big dreams this next year................we will see how many I can accomplish on my "Bucket List"................kind of like I did the first year I raced in NHRA SS/IA wit my Camaro some 30+ years ago. It never hurts to dream a little during these cold dark dreary nights of Winter!

Sorry guys, but I will be racing this Sunday in the annual "Hang Over Nationals" here in Arizona...it's supposed to be a sunny and cool 62 degrees on race day...BRRRR :drive: But to put it all in perspective....our summer is like your winter...too darn hot to be out at the track where you can't escape the 110 degree sun.

24 days below average tempertures in NE PA this December and it isn't over yet. It is supposed to hit the 40s by the weekend though. Never thought that I would consider the 40s as balmy

Now I wish I completed the hook up on the garage gas furnace when the weather was nicer

    Gene,

I've thought about coming over during the summer, but 120+ in the shade is just too hot......................and I don't have a "cool system" for my one piece suit...................I like your area, but only in winter and late fall.
