Rust in fender mount area, what to do?

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    It will throw a bunch of dirt and water onto areas that are prone to rust in the rear. The front one keeps water and dirt off of the headlite and associated wires. I would put them back on.

    Like Craig said it will fill the headlamp and it will fill the door hinge area full of water and debris. Also will fill the inner fender support and thats a bad idea.(inner brace from top to bottom of fender.)

    i will have to use the pair off the parts car then. mine were cracked to pieces so i scrapped them.

    Thanks, I tried. My welder doesn't really like welding thin stuff, so it doesn't look as good as I wanted.
