John, how did you come up with 3200 - 3500 rpm range?
Is this for a track only or a street car?
What kind of power do you have?
How much does your car weigh? (with driver)

Unless off the shelf is what you want... but I think converters need to be matched to your vehicle, you will be much happier with the results.

You can still guess and the car will move forward when you accelerate.

I have a Hughes 4500 in mine. I'm happy with it.
    I've also got 2 of their 3500 convertors. :)

Cool! Your setup is similar to my Mustang II, 351W 400hp, 2800 lbs with driver. Ive got an 8" TCI, which was made after I gave them all my specs. I think Im a 3800 stall. I picked up close to half a second coming down from a 10" street converter.

I bought a redneck performance 4500 stall for the glide in the mustang. It should be back together in a couple weeks and I will tell you my opinion of it

4000 rpm stall is probably close for a strip only vehicle - you might be better off with a bit more but try the 4000 first. My guess is that it will not stall to 4000 but somewhere between 3000 and 3500. You probably aren't getting peak torque before 4500 rpm anyway.
