This is on page 14 of the December 2008 edition of HOTROD Magazine

Since then the plans have changed once we found out the history on the car, the towers aren't gonna be touched. I have the 1975 Super Stock Magazine with pinboss9's car in it as well as a rule book for the Super Modified classes in it, and so far it matches up with all of them. One thing is the tires are 13.5" wide and the NHRA Super Modified classes only allowed 10.5", but IHRA didn't have a limit. So unless the car used to run 10.5's it's probably an IHRA car, once we get it running we'll have to get the D/A sander out and see if we can uncover some names though.

Wow...Hey I am doing a prostreeter also . But with street tires @ 32.50" height But now I am thinking I may have to do an 8.8" or a 9" rear for them so I don't have to go through breaking the 8" with the 4.62's. Are you going to keep it brown? If you do, it still looks good.

It's probably going to be brown for a while, I kinda want it repainted, but we still have to take the D/A sander to it after we have it running.

Got working on the motor lately and found out it's not a 347 since it's only .020 over, so it's a 345. The cam is a Crower 15510 and it's in the motor now, we found the pushrod length which is just a little shorter than a stock 302, and picked up some. Now we gotta clean up some stuff, put all the gaskets on, torque everything down, and hopefully we'll have it running. This is just a mock up of what it'll look like, the oil pan will be different though.

Thanks, but due to low-cost labor, they don't fit right...lol the holes weren't machined properly, so idk if we're going to drill out the holes to fit (And pray it doesn't leak) or sell them. We're almost there, we have to check the rod clearance, get a dipstick for the trans, get a convertor, and a few other things. Also got this now. http://www.jegs.com/i/Comp+Cams/249/35-518-8/10002/-1 it should be going in after we get it running with the tiny Crower...

Nope, bought it from a guy named Chris, he had a red fairmont futura with a 514 BBF but he sold it, he still owns a White and blue 71' Maverick setup similar to mine but with a tired 351W, it runs 11's. Where do you live at, I'm over in Taylor right by the border of Allen Park. If you want to stop by and check it out sometime let me know...
