I was looking for a 74 rear spoiler for my Mav. Contacted someone on here but he's not making them anymore, but the ones he made were up to 73 only. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where I can find one?... Links anything??? Thanks guys!

Only a handful of people have spoilers on 74 and later cars and they had to make them thierselves, unless you do a bumper swap to 73 and earlier you will have to make your own.

If you figure out how to do it you could make lots on money selling them (y)

Some company used to make the end caps years ago. But they stopped and now they are extremely rare. You can try to make the endcaps by using spoiler end caps+ big bumper end caps. Or just swap to smaller bumpers like i did :D

So just the bumper swap alone will allow the fit? That sounds simple enough...Right???

There's a little more to it than that. Holes will need to be drilled and holes will need to be filled. Brackets need to be welded to accept the mounts.

Bumper swap took me all of six hours from start to finnish. The only hard part is finding all the parts. The installation is easy....

You need to weld in the rear brackets that hold the rear bumper. Or you could make an L bracket and bolt it in from the bottom. That way you can get away without welding. For the front bumper there needs to be bolts welded in, but a lot of us just drilled holes and used a long bolt/washer and nut. It works just as good.

Since I can't find anyone in town willing to do small job welding, if anyone sees these big bumper end caps on ebay or craigslist, PLEASE post.

Screw them down with sheet metal screws. This will hold them until you find someone who has a welder. Have you tried a muffler shop?

Is the front bumper swap a bolt on? Or is welding required as well?

You dont have to weld..... I just drilled two 3/8th(1/2" would be better) holes per side. Used the same size bolts with washers. Worked great. Its not concourse at all, but im from the birthplace of hot rodding so we improvise.

You will need to find 70-72 valance, stone guard, bumper and bumper brackets. Notch the fender for the stone guard and drill holes in the frame rail for the bumper bracket. Having a small bumper fender on hand to measure from comes in handy to make these cuts. I still using the grille mounted parking lights so no wiring was changed in my swap.
