    I want a 70-73 Maverick

With some nice Dog dish hub caps or baby moons to finish it off, thats a nice looking car. The trick to building a car like this is to give it a finished look. Other wise people just this you are driving a peice of crap. You have to make it look like you intended it to look this way and it's a finished car, not just a rusty old primered maverick.

You mean the fact that the engine displacement is spelled out, or that it's spelled out wrong?

Get rid of that and it's a nice looking car though...

The owner should buy those wheels sitting there. His belong on a lowered 63 Falcon.

Your welcome. I thought it was "different" because I have seen other vehicles with that theme but never a maverick.:thumbs2:

I also think it is a really cool look, and even though the car isn`t flashy you can tell its not some ragged out rust bucket and that the owner is "in to" the car and cares about its appearance. This theme isnt for everybody but is a nice alternative especially for someone on a tight budget.

I was originally going for that "rat rod" look so my uncle airburshed the rat from the CKD ads on my fenders(one flying a Comet). I've got rust and dents here and there as well but now my direction is satin black with all the bodywork done.. later on I'll chop it. Either way the "rat rod" look is neat to me as long as you dont get fake valve covers and zoomie or weedburners on it.
