    The newsletter just came out and it has the dates a week later than what is stated in this thread......... :(

    :bananaman - I can make it that week.

    The last week of July is always the Oshkosh AirVenture - for a motel owner around Oshkosh, that is like Super Bowl week! (which is why I have never made it to a Roundup!)

    I am trying to recall if there was a promo/group code for making reservations for the Roundup? I though I saw something abt it in the newsletter that I can't seem to put my hands on.

    Guys,

    Is there a proposed schedule of events?

    I am trying to sell the wife on the idea of combining a trip to see my in-laws in NW Ohio along with a day or two at the Roundup. We would be flying, and driving a rental car. So far, I am losing the battle and am doomed to be stuck in a little town with not much to do.

    I love my in-laws, but really want this trip to count for something else too.

    Please give me something to spark her interest.

    All the information was in the last MCCI newsletter. We will be visiting the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, and the Ford Rouge Assembly Plant. There are tons of activites in the area if you want to venture off on your own as well. It will be fun for your entire family.

    I feel ur pain. I wud hate to be in that position, esp., when u will be so close to the event. Hopefully Craig and Dave have put enough info here to spark intrest. Gud Luck....:)

    I just went to the Doubletree link from the newsletter. I wanted to book my room and get the group discount. According to the Doubletree web site, the event is set for the wrong dates - they have the group event set and rooms blocked for July 26th-31st. I tried to manually change the dates, and it said the discount was not valid for those dates.
