    my tech teacher told me the other day he went to a junk yard down in disputanta va this guy brought in a 72' maverick to scrap the guy said it ran and everything was their he would have sold it for $150 but my teacher dident buy it. he said they crushed it in to a 4' cube how sad R.I.P mystery MAV

    yeah, mine's a 6 cylinder 4-door too! it'll be 8 cylinder as soon as possible but still.

    That's a shame! Even if it didn't have a title,it was worth $150 for parts! Seems like this happens a lot to decent older cars!:(

    This happens all the time scrap price has been very high 230 a ton I have seen so many 40s,50s,60s cars and trucks that farmers drag in for scrap it really hurts

    No kidding here every time I see it my stomach hurts but what can do I don't have that kind of money to save them I actually asked one time if I could buy one and they said once its in our yard we can't sell it or parts!
