Time to save up for a posi unit of some kind. the Powertrax Lock Right is about the cheapest route. http://store.4wheelingplus.com/proddetail.asp?prod=1810LR&partner=froogle And throw in some gears, I'd suggest 3.50s if this is your daily driver and you arent going to swap in a AOD or 5-speed. With gears and a locker then you will see what fast feels like. While burnouts sound fast, they are complete opposite. A slower car could beat you if you can't make up for the time you spent spinning out. When I was younger my frineds didnt think my car was fast because it wouldnt roast the tires down the parking lot, as compared to my friends El Camino would do a big smokey burnout down the lot when he punched it. But once they saw us lined up next to me and I left him in the dust or um smoke they finally understood why i didnt want to spin. Have fun with your new 347, I remember days after having mine going I did an accidental 180 turning a corner with a little too much throttle and a little gravel on the road. The cop down the street wasn't impressed.
yeah definitely what i need! and very nice! Started to sand down both doors today. Had one small dent I took care of with a skim of body filler image uploader

That car has come a long way! I love the blue interior, wish mine had of been blue like that! And kudos to sticking with it! Great to see a young guy take an interest in a car that is older than he is! You are the future of our hobby!
Thanks! They all say hi too! Yeah! Top notch brandnew EVERYTHING. I was the first to use person to use the paint booth Thanks! Slowly but surely! Thanks! awesome to hear that! really encouraging! had a snow day today soooo I figured why not...
That was cool Matt, should be great when it dries. I get my block from the shop tomorrow I'm going to assemble it, thats going to be fun. Don
Awesome! we'll have to do a little 1/8 at Evergreen over by you for fun Thanks! gotta get my subframe connectors done and get my steering straightend out. the frontend picks up hard and the steering wheel goes all directions (meanwhile the back tire roast off) That'll be the cheap stuff. I think before racing I need to get some good tires under it and a gear change...which im not sure how soon that'll be...money is all going in the highschool prom fund currently lol
Acknowledged. Should be quite the weapon when the steering, chassis, and rear is finished! Naturally, I've gone underground to save face now that most rigs can paste me in appearance and performance, but I'll still be nearby lurking out of site (ie: stalking and taking pictures).
cool Hey Matt, That was looked like fun did the same thing in my dads big block 67 cougar but un like you my burn out led me to not be able to drive his car for over a year I did not know he was home at the time and when the smoke cleared their he was standing in front of the car oh no. Your mav is coming along nice keep up the good work If I can be of any help just let me know.
