What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    i sanded and painted the comet hood scoop im putting on my maverick. sanded the hood.drilled the holes in new valve covers for the breathers to go in. put new water neck on intake. got new fuel line havent put it on yet . gonna run from pump new all way to engine.:thumbs2:

    I put my gauge cluster back together,after painting the inside white. I used gloss white,as it was the only paint I could get here,that you can use on plastic! What a wonderful difference! I had no idea how much brighter this would make the panel! Tomorrow I'll put the panel back in the car. I want to thank all the members who have suggested this so simple cure for the "dim dash lights" syndrome!:)

    What did I do with my Comet ?

    I put another coat of wax on it , buffed it within an inch of its life , attended a huge car gathering in Deland , Florida then drove it about 150 miles around a three county area. :) Cometized

    I went to NPD and picked up the rest of my listing rods they shorted me, now I can recover my other bucket seat... Got the stuff I needed to make my own package tray too...

    well yesterday i picked up the new heads and cam today i ordered the head gaskets and arp head bolts also oil pan gasket and timing set.if my maverick runs as fast as the money coming out of my wallet i will be happier than crap

    i drove my mav to work like i do everyday,then drove it to lunch like i do everyday,then drove it home like i do everyday lol.I only work on the car during the weekend during the week i just drive it.

    ah looks like sn95 struts spindles and brakes. what are you doing for the steering? guess im going to have to wait till your ready to reveal your secret.
